Stage two, session one

The mental model

You are not learning a tool, you are taking on an agent. Here is what one is made of, and how it learns.

2.07

What it looks like in practice

So far we have outlined one agent in one folder, the brief, the connectors, the skills and the hours, which is what stages four to seven build.

Here is what it looks like once it has grown across the areas of a working life.

  • ecosystem/

The top. The connectors are set here once and reach every area

  • CLAUDE.md

The brief for who you are, and the rules that hold everywhere

  • .claude/skills/

The skills that run from anywhere

  • write-like-me

    Your voice, written down once

  • clients/

    One area, drawn in full

  • CLAUDE.md

Its brief, only what is different in here

  • .claude/skills/

    Its skills

  • catch-up-inbox

On working hours, every morning at seven

  • draft-a-proposal

    Calls write-like-me above it

  • newsletter/

Another area, the same shape inside

  • accounts/

Its own brief and its own skills

  • life/

The admin that is not work

The top folder, ecosystem, holds the brief for who you are, and each area inside it holds its own brief and its own skills.

When you open a chat inside an area, it reads the top brief for who you are, and then the brief of every folder it goes into on the way down.

The same goes for skills, the ones at the top that work anywhere and the ones that live in whichever folder it is working in.

Stage three maps yours.

Next. One bonus part follows this one, on getting as much context in as you can.

Read it if you want to, and if not go straight to stage three, the map.
