Stage two, session one

The mental model

You are not learning a tool, you are taking on an agent. Here is what one is made of, and how it learns.

2.04

The connectors, what it can reach

The screen, wired to the calendar, the inbox and the files.

The connectors are how it reaches your information.

The brief tells it who it is, but your calendar, your inbox and your files are behind doors it cannot open on its own.

Think of them like the logins you give a new member of staff on their first morning.

  • The calendar

Reads. Reads your week, and the month behind it.

Writes. Books nothing until you say so.

  • The inbox

Reads. Reads the threads, and what was agreed in them.

Writes. Drafts, and sends nothing until you say so.

  • The files

    Reads. Opens the document itself.

Writes. Writes into your folder, and asks before anything else.

With them it opens the diary, reads the thread and finds the document itself, instead of you fetching each one.

A connector can read, and it can write, and which of the two you allow is your call for each one.

Stage five plugs them in.
