Four things to sort before you start.

A Claude account

Claude Code runs on a paid Claude plan, and Pro is enough for this course:

  • Go to claude.ai and take the Pro plan, if you are not already on one.
  • Keep that login to hand, because Claude Code asks for it the first time you open it.
