BACK TO THE COURSE

Stage one, session one

Claude Code

Your bearings. What it is and what it can do, which Claude, what you have used, chats, and when it asks.

1.07

Two chats side by side

In VS Code you can have more than one chat open at once.

One chat for one thing means you will often have two things on the go, the proposal in one and the newsletter in the other, and each keeps its own context.

Chat 1Chat 2, dragged to the edge

The proposal for Acme

Draft the pricing section from last year's proposal.

Drafted, in proposals/acme.md. Two prices to confirm.

Thursday's newsletter

Give me three angles from this week's notes.

Three angles, shortest first.

Drag the chat tab to the side of the VS Code window and the screen splits.

Then you have two you can speak to, and you move between them the way you would between two people at two desks.

Two chats side by side

This is part 1.07 of the course. Start it free and it opens straight away, with no password.

A few quick questions come next. You will also get my Thursday newsletter, and you can unsubscribe from it without losing the course. How your details are kept is in the privacy policy.
